HOW CAN I SEE THE ARTWORKS IN YOUR SALEROOMS?

All the works you find in our Online Salerooms are on show in our Metaverse Exhibitions. Metaverse art shows are the most innovative way of experiencing art in Virtual Reality (VR). This way, you may enjoy an art exhibition from the comfort of your home on your laptop, tablet or mobile phone and join the future of the art world in the Post-Digital Era.

Seeing art in real life is extremely important but do think that if you browse and experience art shows online you will see more in less time and help saving our Planet! There are the old ways of experiencing artworks and collecting: using your car to visit auction houses and galleries premises, or flying internationally to art fairs…but to be sustainable and ecological, it is much better to go digital and enjoy and purchase art online.

Old fashion ways are time consuming and generate a bad carbon footprint not only on your behalf, but also on behalf of the art business who engage in packing, shipping, repacking, and reshipping artworks back and forth. The old art market is non-sustainable and anti-ecological: think about it and embrace the Digital World of Art for a better future for our youngest generations!

Moreover, our Metaverse Exhibition Programme is highly specialised, eclectic, and only showcases art by selected artists, who we accept for the conceptual rigour and unicity of their work, and for their proven track record as successful makers with an ascending career path.

WHAT IS A CURATION?

Curation is the act of applying curatorial practice to our Metaverse Exhibition Programme, through which specific art professionals create the thematic displays of carefully chosen artworks. Dr Kalinca Costa Söderlund, the Founder of Arrière-Garde, is our Chief Curator holds a PhD in Art History and Theory and a BA from the globally acclaimed Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London. She has curated internationally and published critical texts on artists and art history in prominent international academic journals, hence, at Arrière-Garde, you will experience only world-class curatorial projects.

Moreover, and thanks to our rigorous selection process, rather than offering mass aggregates of every work of art that is available for us to sell, we curate shows made only of the very best of what is available. We specialise in mid-career and emerging artists and take great care in cherry picking artworks that match our curatorial vision and ambitions. Arrière-Garde strictly offers high quality works that pass through both our network of experts and advisory board to ensure a standard of excellence.

HOW DO I ACQUIRE AN ARTWORK?

If you are interested in purchasing a work from Arrière-Garde, you may do so online through our Salerooms, or, particularly if you are based outside the UK or if the artwork you wish to purchase is to be delivered outside the UK territory, you may contact our Customer Service at: info@arriere-garde.co.uk

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN THE PURCHASED ARTWORK?

If you are not satisfied with the artwork that you have purchased from Arrière-Garde, you have fourteen (14) days to return the artwork to us, according to what stated in our Return Policy. Returns will not be accepted for any artwork that has been stretched, cropped, or altered in any capacity after purchase.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN SPECIAL ITEMS, ITEMS ON SALE OR REDUCED?

Unfortunately, according to Arrière-Garde’s policy, discounted artworks, Special Collection, Limited Edition, framed/matted artworks, Open Edition artworks, and eGift Cards are final and not eligible for returns. Unless otherwise agreed by Arrière-Garde, any discounts or promotions are not cumulative, and no more than one discount or promotion shall be used on the same Order.
